Brief evaluation on demands and priorities of Gender equality programs

To have appropriate intervention programs in improving Gender equality in two districts of Hoang Hoa and Nhu Thanh, Thanh Hoa, Development and Peace organization – a Spanish NGO – cooperated with CSAGA to implement a research so as to find demands and priorities of people in improving Gender equality in two districts. The qualitative analysis method was used through tools such as group discussion, indeep interview, gender analysis, participatory rural appraisal in the reasearch to study Gender issues in the locality. The gender issues were widely known besides Gender equality and Gender-based violence including illegal marriage, reproductive health, information on rape.The research studied on factors impacting on Gender issues, the demands of people in improving Gender equality and gave appropriate recommendations for intervention programs at communal and district levels. The activities of the research took place on 22^nd of August to 31^st of August.
