Program | Project: “Support the Implementation of the Law on Domestic Violence Prevention and Promote the Supplementation of Relevant Policies” from 2011 to 2014 - Fund from Oxfam Novib | Objectives of the Project: 1. The carry out of the Law on DVP is periodically monitored and relevant policies are supplemented on time 2. Mass media upholds its strength in promoting the Law implementation into reality 3. Survivors of DV become active elements in doing advocacy 4. CSAGA’s management board and CSAGA staff have enough capacity in managing and developing the organization effectively
Main Activities: 1. Establishing a group of monitoring and evaluating experts: Three advocacy meetings at local level and one the meeting at central level. 2. Completing the monitoring framework of the Law on DVP 3. Conference – workshop on monitoring methods and skills for the evaluation – monitoring group on the Law on DVP. 4. Producing radio interactive programs on the Transportation VOV 5. Maintaining and expanding clubs of survivors of DV in three districts of the project …..

27/04/2011 09:28:52 AM | Older PROMOTION OF LGBT’S RIGHTS AND INCREASING MEN’S PARTICIPATION IN GENDER EQUALITY AND DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PREVENTION IN VIETNAM (Phase II from 2011 to 2013) Following the success of Phase 1, sponsored by the Embassy of Sweden, CSAGA continue the Phase 2 of the project. At this phase, CSAGA continued implementation of two main components are improve the rights of lesbians and encourage the participation of men in preventing domestic violence Project: “Standing Up Against Violence (Stand Up): Migrant Women and Men Working Together to Stop Violence Against Women” Year 2008 ended with the success of the project: "Violence against Women approach based on rights to empower migrant women affected by violence". 11 Self-help groups were established, gathered 120 women migrants. Self-help groups have organized 5 times communication about Prevention of domestic violence in the five districts of Hanoi. |
