Twenty-six years ago, feminists considered 25 November every year as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The Interantional Day was chosen to commemorate the death of sixteen victims of violence in the cruel assassination in 1960 in the Dominican Republic. | On October 27, 2007 the Domestic Violence Prevention Network in Vietnam (for short DOVIPNET) being the first officially network in Vietnam working in the field of domestic violence prevention was introduced | Other:- The project’s communication activity : “Let’s countinue talking about DV” in studio of Viet Nam Television Station.

In the framework of the project: “ Building capacity for social workers in support the victims of DV in Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen”, on 30th November, 2006, CSAGA has cooperated with “ Home maker” program of the Viet Nam Television to organise a forum: “Continue talking on DV” - The competition festival: “Sharing Knowledge on Gender Equality”
The competition festival: “Sharing Knowledge on Gender Equality” CSAGA has cooperated with the women’s union of My Hao district, Hung Yen province to organise the competition on Gender equality. This was an activities in the project: “Increasing Gender equality and the participation of women in social development progress” implemented by CSAGA in two communes of Duong Quang and Phan Dinh Phung from December, 2005 with finacial support from Finland Embassy - Draft law on preventing DV.

Training on “Gender and Preventing VAW” To increase awareness on Gender and Gender equality, advance responsibilities for functional agencies, unions and organizations working in preventing DV, from 25th of November to 28th of November there will be a training course on “Gender and Preventing VAW” in People Committee of Cau giay district
