Social responsibility in promoting lesbians’ rights and the right to be free from violence and oppression in Vietnam are expected to be increased following the Sweden-funded project to a Vietnamese non-governmental organisation – Centre for Studies and Applied Sciences in Gender – Family – Women and Adolescents, CSAGA. The Domestic Violence Prevention Clubs Festival took place recently in the Dong Anh Culture Home. This festival attracted participation of many people, including members of clubs, the director’s board, the management board, the operating board of city projects, Duc Giang Hospital, Dong Anh Hospital, the Center of Counseling and Healthcare for Women, and representatives of newspapers, television, and other interested organizations.
