Counseling

Since January 1997, counseling activities have been established by the Center for Studies and Applied Science in Gender – Family – Women and Adolescents (CSAGA). It is the first psychological – emotional hotline in Hanoi with the mission of providing information and counseling toward love, marriage, family, life skills and other social issues.

Counseling has been the major activities of CSAGA, with 7 years of experience and is carried out by a lot of forms: face to face counseling, telephone counseling, counseling in the community, counseling via mass media (newspapers, magazines, radio, television, internet). So far, we have been providing counseling for millions of clients through our hotlines and hundreds of clients requiring face to face counseling (with such issues as violence, psychological crisis, sexual abuse, reproductive health, drugs, HIV/AIDS, etc.

Counseling via internet is a nonprofit activitie by CSAGA. In 2003, we provided free counseling to thousands of domestic clients as well as Vietnamese overseas living in France, United Kingdom, America, Canada, China, etc. The website http://www.tinhcamlinhtam.com.vn/ was voted as one of the ten most favourite webpages in 2003.
